Day 14 – Challenge
Yesterday, I spoke about a place I would like to visit someday…and I’m sure that place is somewhere anyone would want to go…Anyway, today I’m going to talk about my earliest memory.
I have never really had a hazy memory about my childhood. I tend to remember a lot of things..I can’t remember all, but i can definitely remember most of it. Although, when I think about it, some of these memories seem like dreams to me. My earliest memory is when I was 3 years old. I see myself sitting on a keyboard stool with a male teacher who is teaching me how to play. I see myself intrigued by the music and I yearn for that feeling. It was peaceful and exciting. Looking back, I think that is when I fell in love with music. I mean, everything music..ranging from composers such as Handel, Chopin, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven..to name but a few…to my love for transposing and orchestrating and transcribing. Funny thing is, I didn’t really appreciate all the music I learnt then but right now, I can tell you that I yearn to go back to music school to complete what my music teachers had deposited in me all these past years. Like I said, some of these memories seem like dreams to me. I can’t say for sure if that really did happen but whether it happened in my dreams or reality, it’s a feeling i would wish to get back anytime, any day.
Before you judge me, try hard to love me – MJ
